The evocative and poetic name ‘Giersberger’ pays homage to Ribeauvillé’s famous Three Castles, historic jewels perched high above the town. Like Giersberg Castle, which proudly dominates the region, our Crémant d’Alsace Giersberger Chardonnay stands out for its unique character and finesse.
This Crémant is 100% Chardonnay. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. This Crémant is made in the purest respect for traditional methods, with a second fermentation in the bottle, followed by at least 12 months’ ageing on laths. A dosage of 9g/l at disgorgement gives it its brut character.
The mousse and bubbles of this Crémant Chardonnay are light and abundant. The nose develops aromas of citrus fruit and white peaches, which are repeated on the palate. This is a Crémant of great finesse that perfectly combines length, balance and extreme freshness.
