The evocative and poetic name ‘Giersberger’ pays homage to Ribeauvillé’s famous Three Castles, historic jewels perched high above the town. Like the castle of ‘Giersberg’, which proudly dominates the region, our Crémant d’Alsace Giersberger Brut stands out for its unique character and finesse.
This Crémant is made from 80% Pinot Blanc and 20% Auxerrois grapes, including 25-30% reserve wines. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. This Crémant is made in the purest respect for traditional methods, with a second fermentation in the bottle, followed by at least 12 months’ ageing on laths. A dosage of 8.5g/l at disgorgement gives it its brut character.
This Crémant has fine, delicate bubbles, with aromas of white flowers such as lime blossom and acacia. On the palate, it retains its freshness and finesse, with a long aftertaste.
