In Alsace, vines are considered ‘old’ when they are 25 years old or more. At Ribeauvillé, our old vines are at least 30 years old. They have low yields, producing rich, complex wines.

Terroir
The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand.
Whole bunches are pressed in pneumatic presses to avoid crushing. The juices are separated to optimise the quality of our wines. After static settling, the wines are fermented under temperature control and then matured on fine lees for 7 months.
Gewurztraminer is the aromatic Alsatian wine par excellence. It is well-balanced on both the nose and the palate. Powerful thanks to its spiciness (pepper and coriander), it is full and round with lovely floral notes (rose and peony).
What to marry it with?
Enjoy this Gewurztraminer with spicy and world cuisines (Mexican, Moroccan, Indian or Asian) or as a dessert with your cakes, tarts or ice creams.
