Terroir
Whole bunches are pressed in pneumatic presses to avoid any crushing and to respect the raw material as much as possible. The juices are separated to optimise the quality of our wines. After static settling, the wines ferment under temperature control at around 21°-22°, and are then matured on fine lees for 7 to 9 months. After filtration, the wines are bottled all at once and matured in our cellars for a minimum of 1 to 3 years.
This Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Marckrain has a fine, spicy nose. This wine has balance and finesse On the palate, there’s a light spiciness that combines notes of fresh fruit (mango) and overripe fruit (dried apricots).
What to marry it with?
It will delight exotic dishes, full-bodied cheeses and great desserts.
