Terroir
The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand.
Whole bunches are pressed in pneumatic presses to avoid crushing. The juices are separated to optimise the quality of our wines. After static settling, the wines are fermented under temperature control and then matured on fine lees for 3 to 6 months.
Dry and racy, its aromas range from fruity (citrus) to mineral (gunflint). Nervous on the attack, delicate and intense on the palate, with notes of citrus fruit and minerality. It then appears well-balanced, structured and long on the palate.
What to marry it with?
This Riesling is a wonderful gastronomic wine.
It goes perfectly with fish, whether grilled or in sauce. It also goes well with seafood and shellfish. The fruit and mineral aromas of the Riesling complement the iodine flavours well.
A native of the region, it is a natural accompaniment to sauerkraut and flammekueche, either plain or au gratin.
